Built on the idea that owners deserve numbers they trust

Meet Ashley Audra

Axis AcctOps is an independent practice, which means the person you talk to is the person who does the work. No account managers, no rotating offshore team, no wondering who actually touched your file this month.

The practice grew out of corporate accounting work — the kind where a close calendar is real, reconciliations get reviewed, and the reporting has to hold up to people whose job is to poke holes in it. That is a higher standard than most small businesses ever get applied to their books, and there is no good reason for that gap to exist.

Axis exists to close it: corporate-grade discipline, applied at a scale and a price that makes sense for a contractor, a salon, a small manufacturer, or a nonprofit with a board to answer to.

Why "AcctOps"

Accounting operations. Bookkeeping is usually sold as a task — data entry, a monthly deliverable. In practice it is a system: how transactions get captured, who reviews them, when the period closes, what gets reported, and how errors get caught before they compound. Treating it as operations rather than paperwork is the whole difference between books that describe the past and books that inform what you do next.

How Axis works

Every engagement starts with a free consult and ends with a written scope and a flat monthly price. No hourly meter running while you ask a question, no invoice that surprises you. Work happens remotely through secure document sharing and cloud accounting, which keeps overhead low and passes that through in the pricing.

Outside the books

Axis is a young practice, deliberately taking on a small number of clients so each one gets real attention rather than a queue position. If you want to talk through whether that is a fit, the consult is free and there is no pitch attached.

What you can count on

Accuracy over speed

A fast close that is wrong helps nobody. The work gets reviewed before it goes out, every month.

No jargon, no gatekeeping

You should understand your own financials. Anything explained here gets explained in language you can repeat to your spouse or your banker.

Honest scoping

If your business needs less than you think it does, you will hear that. If Axis is not the right fit, you will hear that too.

Discretion

Financial records are personal. They stay between you and Axis, handled through secure channels.
